Twezimbe Development Foundation (TDF) is a non-profit organization set up to support various development activities in mawokota north- mpigi district with emphasis on health (general, HIV/AIDS and maternal), Education, Water and sanitation, Youth and Gender. It is registered in Mawokota North (Mpigi District) and its initial target beneficiaries were the people of Mawokota North.
We have supported all health centers in Mawokota with basic medical appliances, Constructed all health centres in Muduuma, Furbished health centers, Ambulance, Delivery beds, Incinerator e.t.c
Various women groups have been supported with agricultural inputs, animals; piglets, goats, cows and entrepreneurship training etc.
Through our programs, we have managed to create income generating opportunities for the: non-skilled and skilled youth in entrepreneur training, offered 370 scholarships (university level) e.t.c.
We provided free treatment to several elderly basic needs; built houses for them from four Sub Counties; Muduuma (1), Mpigi Town Council (2), kamengo(3) and Kiringente(2), providing beddings et
370 University scholarships, computers, ICT trainings, feeding programs and sport items etc. Over 80 girls were trained in tailoring and entrepreneurship programs and other trainings were; candle making, baking. Crafts. Paver etc.
We also supported the HIV victims with porridge and sugar as well as Mpigi Medical Staff, provided meals to HIV/AIDS clients.
